Frequently Asked Questions
ESS Mobile is an Employee Self-Service (ESS) application that
allows employees to access HR-related services directly from
their mobile device, including profile management, leave
requests, attendance verification, appraisals, and internal
notifications.
ESS Mobile is available only to authorized employees of the
organization with valid login credentials issued or approved by
the HR or IT department.
ESS Mobile provides access to personal profile management, leave
and permission applications, attendance and geolocation-based
check-in/check-out, appraisal and performance management,
internal notifications, and other employee self-service modules.
Features may vary based on organizational configuration.
The App may collect your name, email address, telephone number,
date of birth, employee ID and job information, device
information, usage logs, and geolocation data (with permission).
All information collected is necessary to provide ESS services
securely.
No. ESS Mobile does not link to, access, or collect any data
from social media platforms.
Location access is used strictly for attendance verification,
clock-in/clock-out validation, security purposes, and compliance
with organizational policies. The App does not track continuous
movement.
Most features will still work. However, location-dependent
functions such as attendance verification will not function
without location permission.
ESS Mobile uses encrypted communication, secure authentication,
access control mechanisms, limited internal data sharing, and
regular security audits to protect user information.
Your data is shared only with authorized internal departments,
approved service providers under strict confidentiality
agreements, or regulatory authorities when legally required.
Data is never sold or shared for marketing purposes.
You may update editable information directly in the App. For
restricted fields such as date of birth or job role, please
contact the HR department.
Use the “Forgot Password” option on the login screen or contact
the IT or HR helpdesk to request a reset.
Automatic logout occurs after a period of inactivity to protect
your account and personal information.
Updates are available through the Google Play Store or Apple App
Store. Keeping the App updated ensures access to the latest
features and security improvements.
Try restarting the App, checking your internet connection,
updating to the latest version, or restarting your device. If
the issue persists, contact IT support.
Your access will be deactivated and your data archived in line
with organizational retention policies. You will no longer be
able to use ESS Mobile after employment ends.
